Material: Steel with Zinc plated Q & A: ?What’s the function? ?This spindle adapter is designed to install various buffing wheels, suitable wheels type includes: soft flannel, fine cotton, coarse denim, rigid sisal etc. The suitable wheels size includes: 4", 5", 6", 7", 8" etc, as long as the arbor hole between 1/4"-3/4". ?What machine it’s fit for? ?This tapered adapter can be assembled on bench grinder or motor arbor shaft which size is 1/2" or 5/8". 1 pair provided can assemble on both side of bench grinder. Extra inner tube can be flexibly used according to grinder’s shaft size. ?How to assemble? ?1st, remove the outer guard, grinding stone and inner guard on bench grinder; 2nd, fix spindle adapter to grinder shaft with grub screw. Kindly note: one adapter provide one screw, it’s tight enough to fix the spindle adapter to grinder shaft as per our factory’s test, the balance 2 holes are auxiliary for mount and demount adapters. ?Any advantage compare with common arbor adapter? ?This one allows you quickly change buffing wheels, will not drop off during use. It is quite easy to install and remove wheels: 1st , turn on your bench grinder or motor; 2nd , take the buffing wheel and align the arbor to the adapter tip; 3rd, put the wheel onto the adapter tip, then it will turn with adapter together and more and more tight. 4th, take off the wheel from opposite direction easily when finish polishing work or want to change another wheel.
