This support board helps distribute pressure more evenly across the mattress, reducing the feeling of support bars and improving overall comfort. The Meliusly Sleeper Sofa Support Board functions as a structural support component installed between the sleeper sofa frame and the mattress. By creating a flatter and more stable surface, it helps the mattress feel firmer while also helping extend the life of both the mattress and the sofa bed frame. Our newest design allows for permanent installation. Once placed underneath the mattress, the board folds away together with the sleeper sofa mechanism when the sofa is collapsed. This eliminates the need to remove or store the support board separately. Constructed from sturdy hardwood veneer panels and durable Oxford polyester fabric, the board remains stable and securely positioned under the mattress while allowing the sofa bed to fold normally. The fabric component serves only structural purposes such as binding panels together and helping keep the board properly aligned during use.
