This valve is a comprehensive solution designed to support a broad pressure range; it is able to handle pressures up to 400 psi (27.6 bar), as well as offers an adjustable pressure range from 25 to 75 psi (172 to 517 kPa), with the reduced pressure rating set at 50 psi (345 kPa). This assembly includes a lead-free cast copper silicon alloy body for durability, removable integral stainless steel strainer, replaceable seat module, thermal expansion bypass, and a sealed spring cage with stainless steel cage screws that makes it suitable for waterwork pit installations. The valve conveniently includes a bypass feature that effectively controls thermal expansion pressure, permitting the flow of water back through the valve into the main when pressures - due to thermal expansion on the outlet side of the valve - exceed the pressure in the main supply. Featuring an NPT threaded union inlet by NPT female outlet connection, this lead-free water pressure reducing valve is designed for straightforward installation with easy handling, allowing for a secure and reliable fit. Its compact construction ensures it can be easily handled during installation, and its in-line serviceability feature allows for quick maintenance without removing the valve from the pipeline, ensuring minimal downtime and keeping the system running efficiently.
