The Attwood 9084-1 Vented Battery Box is built for secure, long-lasting battery containment in marine and RV environments. Designed to fit Group 29 and Group 31 Series batteries, this rugged box offers reliable protection and meets key safety standards. Made from acid-resistant polypropylene, the box is impact-tested from -20°F to +120°F for dependable performance in extreme conditions. The vented lid design includes four cable openings and upward-facing vents to safely release battery gases while minimizing water intrusion. A heavy-duty hold-down strap rated to withstand 350 lbs. of force ensures secure installation—nearly four times the U.S. Coast Guard requirement. The box meets ABYC Standard E-10 and USCG Specification 183.420, making it suitable for OEM and aftermarket use. Additional features include large rolled-edge handles for easy carrying, molded-in instructions for quick reference, and included mounting hardware for fast setup.
