Access the Rods: Tape the washer lid shut. Remove the screws from the back of the top control panel or the front corners (depending on the model) to flip the top assembly up or slide it forward. Prop the top open using a string or a piece of wood for safety. Remove the Old Rod: Lift up on the tub to relieve tension on the rod. Unhook the top of the rod from its plastic seat in the washer frame. Reach down to the bottom of the tub and unhook the rod from the tub's support bracket. 2.Install the New Rod: Apply a small amount of synthetic damping grease to the pivot points Lower the new rod through the top and hook it into the bottom tub bracket first. Pull up on the rod and the tub simultaneously to seat the top plastic mount into the washer's frame. Repeat: Replace all four rods at the same time to ensure the tub remains balanced; mixing old and new rods often causes immediate failure. 3. Reassemble: Lower the top panel, secure the screws, and run a calibration cycle if your model requires it 4.After replacing the rods, re-calibrated. This is often done by turning the washer on and holding specific buttons like "Temp" and "Delay Start" for 3 seconds.
