It's designed to work seamlessly with standard 4 inch cedar, aluminum, vinyl, and cement board siding, though it's not compatible with Dutch lap style profiles. Installation is straightforward and screwdriver-friendly, with all necessary mounting screws included in the package. No additional hardware is required, and the design allows for easy access during setup. Please note that this mount is specifically for the wired version of the Google Nest Doorbell and will not fit the battery-powered model.
