The hand-tight mode automatically senses when lug nuts are snugged up against a wheel and shuts the tool off, preventing the user from accidentally over torquing the lug nuts and damaging the threads. Auto Slow mode allows the tool to loosen nuts at high torque level and then once the nut is loosened, the RPMs automatically slow down preventing user from out of control feeling and losing the nut. The Kobalt impact wrench also features 3 speed/torque settings which can be easily selected using the electronic push button.
