The Banbaloo Bar is the first specialized fall safety system in which the person is not in the cage like in traditional metal bed bars. The foam barrier was invented in the United States, where it is already number one on sale. Its effectiveness is based on the principle of passive safety which consists in detecting the soft touch of our ramp to trigger the natural response subconsciously, letting us know that we are close to danger and that we must move away, since the brain is able to perceive the change in the texture of the bed and throw a small alarm signal while we sleep. The elderly or people in difficulty will rest more comfortably and safely, as they will avoid possible shocks while remaining safe from the hinges, joints and metals that older systems have.
